The Division 2 might have some minor advancements

Its crazy how many men and women **** talk this match about the air. And if it didnt have snow, which it doesnt, people are saying they dont like it cause they want the snow or else they dont like the air. (That is what im seeing and getting from the comments ive seen so far) Its pretty much a shed for The Division 2 Boosting ? .

The Division 2 might have some minor advancements, but for me it seems a bit worse than original game. First - colour palette. The Division 1 only uses more desaturated, sort of muted, but very realistic colours in textures, lighting effects, sfx and colour grading in post processing, while the second match appears far more saturated and not so balanced, and it merely appears less realistic. Lighting seems a bit weird, particularly at dawn or dusk. And another flaw of division 2 images is poor ambient occlusion quality.

Have a peek at shadows, and also how they lack depth. There's no black soft shadows beneath cars in grass, some parts of personalities clothings doesn't throw soft shadows that are indirect, therefore overall picture looks kinda flat. During daylight using strong lighting from sun it visible, although Obviously this issue isn't so noticable at night . Maybe occlusion quality is the same between the two games, but due to differences in colour grading and because of the fact that The Section 1 in most cases has dark or cloudy lighting scenarions, this issues isn't too pronounced. By the way, the first game was downgraded mostly in ambient occlusion and global illumination quality (among the very heavy factor for perfomance ), therefore this is the reason why it doesnt seems so impressing as on the renowned announcement movie.

And the next match, as I could see, took a step further and downgraded indirect light even more, and I could see why - they raised the amount and density of foliage (that is always not a cheap thing to draw on scene), also terrain sophistication obviously improved (now you do not have just an asphalt streets and sidewalks covered in snow - there is a whole lot more distinct and intricate surfaces, which they make looks much better thanks to parralax occlusion mapping ) so in order to maintain the identical system requirements they created lighting somewhat simplier. And we all know that light quality is the thing for realistic image, offline renders looks photoreal just as they have enough time while games must find solutions that are inexpensive and rapid. Simple light - image.Between Matches like Apex Legends, Anthem, Far Cry: New Dawn, Metro Exodus, Crackdown 3, and a Lot of indies, you have to Pick from in the new-games Section.
